Amazon MCF by WebBee – Understanding the Order Statuses

Order statuses are tags assigned to orders to indicate their current stage in the fulfillment process. It helps businesses, customers, and logistics providers to track orders efficiently.



There are following order statuses:

  1. Pending - Indicates that the order has been created in Shopify and is awaiting acceptance/rejection by Amazon. This status may also appear if order synchronization is disabled.
  2. Accepted by Amazon - Order is accepted by Amazon.
  3. Accepted by Non-Amazon - Order is accepted by Non-Amazon (3PL).
  4. Delayed Order - Displays orders delayed due to 'Hold Orders for Post Purchase Order Edits' setting.
  5. Hold by Amazon -  Displays orders that Amazon has placed on hold due to various reasons- like orders with tags etc.
  6. Rejected by Amazon - Order is rejected by Amazon.
  7. Rejected by Non-Amazon - Order is rejected by Non-Amazon (3PL).
  8. Risk Order - Displays orders identified as fraud or potential high risk in Shopify.
  9. Error - Highlights orders that have encountered issues, with detailed reasons provided for the errors.
  10.  Archive - Displays a list of orders archived by the seller.
  11. Closed - Appears after an order has been successfully fulfilled via Amazon FBA or manually within Shopify.
  12. Closed Archive - Displays a list of fulfilled orders archived by the seller.
  13. Invalid Ship Method - Appears when shipping method are not mapped in app.
  14. Routing Error Resubmitting - Indicated that currently Amazon is not accepting this order due to Some internal problem . It will be Resubmitted automatically after sometime.
  15. Rejected due to Split Shipping - Displays orders rejected by Amazon based on split shipping settings set by the seller in WebBee application.
  16. Duplicate - Displays orders with identical order IDs.
  17. Order Criteria Denied - Orders are not exported to Amazon FBA due to specific conditions set by the seller under 'Disable order export to Amazon' setting.
  18. Rejected due to Shopify location - Displays orders rejected due to unmapped Shopify locations across marketplaces.
  19. Cancel failure by Amazon - When an order cancelled on Shopify is still created on Amazon but does not get cancelled within the expected time frame.
  20. Cancelled and RefundedDisplays a log of cancelled and refunded orders.
  21. Fulfilled by Shopify - Highlights orders that are manually fulfilled by the seller within Shopify.
  22. Hold Non Amazon 3PL for Payment - it indicates the non paid order syncing to non amazon 3PL
  23. Unfulfillable by Amazon - Indicates that the order has been rejected because the required inventory is not available on Amazon FBA warehouses.
  24. Partially Accepted by Amazon - When an order sent from Shopify to Amazon is only partially processed or accepted by Amazon. This status appear when split shipping setting is allowed.
  25. In Transit - It signifies that the order is on its way but not yet delivered to the customer. This status shown only in Indian marketplace.
  26. Rejected due to Pre Order - Appears when the pre ordered item inventory is unavailable.
  27. Partially Delivered - Appears in Indian marketplace and updates when only the part of the order fulfilled.
  28. Delivered - Indicated that the order has been completed and successfully delivered to the customer. This works for Indian marketplace only and update after the 'closed' status.

Managing Orders in Amazon MCF by WebBee

The Amazon MCF by WebBee app offers comprehensive tools to manage orders effectively:

  1. Order Log Page: User can access the orders log section by clicking on the top menu to view and manage orders.
  • Filtering Options: User can utilize multiple filters such as Order Status, Order ID, Marketplaces, Archived SKU, From Date & To Date to locate specific orders.

  • Order Table: To view detailed information, including Order ID, Order Statuses, Amazon Fee, and various Action i.e. View on Shopify/Re-submit to Amazon or Archive.

  • Functional Buttons:

    • Export Order CSV: Download order data for analysis.

    • Import Order CSV: Bulk import orders via CSV files.

    • Import Order: Manually import orders by Order ID or Date.
