Error: Sales order not created for customer with NS ID - due to Invalid shipping method

Error: Sales order not created for customer with NS ID - due to Invalid shipping method

The reason why this or similar orders got rejected by NetSuite

It seems that the customer with this NS ID, selected a Shopify shipping method that's not mapped with the appropriate NetSuite shipping method, as a result, our app couldn't sync this order to NetSuite.

Example:

Error: Sales order not created for customer with NS ID - 1170 due to Invalid shipping method.

In this above example, a Shopify customer whose internal ID in NetSuite is 1170, selected a Shopify shipping method that wasn't mapped with the appropriate NetSuite shipping method as a result, this order got rejected by NetSuite.

How to fix this error:

Step 1:

  1. Open NetSuite and from the top-navigation pane click on the Lists > Accounting > Shipping Items
  2. Now, COPY the internal ID of that NetSuite shipping method that corresponds to this customer's selected Shopify shipping method. Example: On Shopify, your customer selected the Standard shipping method, and inside NetSuite, you are fulfilling such Standard shipping method via UPS Ground shipping method

Step 2:

  1. Open Robust NetSuite Integrator app, and go to the Configuration Page > App Settings > Shopify Delivery Speeds, and click on the Configure Mapping button
  2. Inside this newly opened pop-up, PASTE the COPIED NetSuite Internal ID corresponding to the customer's selected Shopify shipping method
  3. Click on the Save button

Step 3:

  1. Go to the Order Log page
  2. In the Order ID field, enter the Order ID of this rejected order, and hit the Search button
  3. In the action tab, click on the Re-submit button
  4. Upon, successful re-submission, you will see the status of this order changed to Accepted by NetSuite
