Gift Card Management via Robust NetSuite Integrator


If you are looking forward in syncing the Gift card transaction from Shopify to NetSuite  , you can opt for this functionality of Robust NetSuite Integrator 


With the below mentioned steps we will start from the scratch on how to create test order and sync further the transaction and related order to NetSuite 


Step 1

Add the Gift card in Shopify as shown in the below screenshot

Step 2

Now we need to create an item SKU in NetSuite for the corresponding Gift item as Service for sales type.

Step 3

Open the Robust NetSuite Integrator . Now enable the Toggle for the Gift Card Management . Click on the settings button which will direct you to the Gift card settings as per the below screenshot

Now Enter the NetSuite SKU for the Gift Card items .Once done hit the SAVE button at the bottom of the page .

Step 4

Now we will go forward and buy the Gift Card from the Shopify store and see how the transactions will sync in Oracle NetSuite via our Integrator . Below are the screenshots to make your understand virtually 

Create an Order


Add the item

Once the Shopify order is processed , the registered  Email Address will have the gift card Coupon code  as shown in the below screenshot .

Step 5

Now we will try to create a transaction where we will apply the same coupon code with the other items in the order to check how the order value and the gift card transaction will be syncing to Oracle NetSuite .

So once  we will apply coupon code on the payment page, the total cart value will reduce to gift card amount as applied .

Step 6 

Once the order is accepted in the application and transmitted to NetSuite the transaction will show the actual amount,  along with the gift card applied in Shopify with a negative Line item value.
