How to create a test order using Shopify admin panel, further, sync it to your Oracle NetSuite account using WebBee's Robust NetSuite Integrator?

If you are interested in learning all the bits of placing a test order using your Shopify store's admin panel, further, sync it to your Oracle's NetSuite account using the Robust NetSuite Integrator by WebBee, please follow the below-mentioned steps. 

Steps to place a test order using your Shopify store 

Step 1

Open your Shopify store, and go to the Orders section using the left-navigation pane.



Step 2

Once your orders section is open, click on the Green button to create a test order.



Step 3

Now go forward to browse the product you want to add to your test order. Make sure that the item is mapped inside our integrator's Product Linking page. Add the customer details, along with the shipping details. You can also create a new customer right from here with the new customer details.



Step 4

Now enter your preferred shipping address along with a billing address (not mandatory) where this order should be shipped.



Step 5

Next step is to collect a payment, and to do that click on the Collect Payment drop-downfurther select Mark as a Paid option. Once done, just click on the Create Order button to create it.






Step 6

Once an order gets created, it will be imported inside our application instantly and will be synced to NetSuite in real-time OR as configured inside the application. Below are a few most frequent errors that new NetSuite users usually encounter.
  1. Error: [Code=USER_ERROR] Please enter value(s) for
  2. Error : '[Code=UNIQUE_CUST_ID_REQD] A customer record with this ID already exists. You must enter a unique customer ID for each record you create. To correct this record, enter a new customer ID in the Customer field
  3. Error: Sales order not created for customer with NS ID - _____ [Code=INSUFFICIENT_PERMISSION] You do not have permissions to set a value for element _____ due to one of the following reasons: 1) The field is read-only; 2) An associated feature is disabled; 3) The field is available...
  4. Error: We are not able to find these/this SKUs on NetSuite
  5. Error: Sales order not created for customer with NS ID - due to Invalid shipping method
  6. Error: Sales order not created for customer with NS ID - ___ [Code=INVALID_KEY_OR_REF] Invalid _______ reference key ___ for subsidiary __
Note: If everything is configured correctly, this test order will display Accepted by NetSuite else, you can learn about some common NetSuite errors from here.



Note: Make sure to configure the Mandatory settings of our integrator inside NetSuite for a smoother order sync.

How to View an Order on NetSuite

Step 1

Now, that your test order has been synced to your NetSuite account. Within the Order Log page itself, we give you shortcuts to View an order right inside your Shopify store OR on your NetSuite account. If you click on the View Order On NetSuite button under the Order Log page, you will be redirected to the corresponding order inside your Oracle NetSuite account.
