Understanding Price Sync Handling in RNI Shopify by WebBee

This article explains how Price Sync Handling works in the RNI Shopify app by WebBee. Follow the steps below:

Step 1

Open the RNI Shopify app, and navigate to Configuration → App Settings, and search for “Sync Product Price.”

You will see two options:

  1. NetSuite Price Level

  2. Price Sync Handling

In this guide, we focus on price sync handling.

Step 2

Price Sync Handling allows you to adjust the product price after syncing it from NetSuite to Shopify.

You can modify the price using one of the following adjustment types:

  • Flat

  • Percentage

  • Multiplier

If this setting is disabled, product prices will sync directly based on the NetSuite Price Level without any modification.

Adjustment Types with Examples

Assume the product price in NetSuite is $100:

1. Flat Adjustment

Adds a fixed amount to the original price.

  • Adjustment Type: Flat

  • Value: +20

  • Shopify Price: $100 + $20 = $120

2. Percentage Adjustment

Adds a percentage to the original price.

  • Adjustment Type: Percentage

  • Value: +10%

  • Shopify Price: $100 + 10% = $110

3. Multiplier Adjustment

Multiplies the original price by a factor.

  • Adjustment Type: Multiplier

  • Value: 1.5

  • Shopify Price: $100 × 1.5 = $150

Once the value has been set, you can view the price on the Shopify product page. The compare at price and cost per item will all change in accordance with the product price.

Note: You can leave the Price sync handling setting at "NO" if you don't want to set the adjustment type.
