This feature can be found under Amazon MCF by WebBee > Configuration Page > App Settings.

Inventory-Based Location Assignment is a feature offered by Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment by Webbee. This controls which inventory location is assigned to Shopify orders.

When this setting is enabled, Webbee automatically updates the Shopify order location based on specific conditions. This applies when the Webbee app is installed along with any additional third-party fulfillment app, such as Amazon MCF or Amazon’s Buy with Prime.

The feature compares inventory levels between the third-party app’s location and the virtual Shopify location configured in the Webbee app. The location with the highest available inventory is assigned to the Shopify order.

If inventory levels are the same in both locations, the feature uses a predefined default location selected in Webbee. That default location is then assigned to the Shopify order.

Additionally, this feature allows you to automatically apply tags to Shopify orders at the time the location change occurs, helping you identify and track orders processed through this logic.
