If the tracking id is not syncing back to Shopify orders from Amazon seller. There are some of the following reasons which might be interrupting the sync and the tracking id is not syncing/ updating correctly from Amazon seller to Shopify orders.
1. Sync Toggles are turned off in our app:
Please check the order sync and tracking sync, both toggles should be turned on in our app in Amazon MCF marketplaces settings under configuration.
With toggle off for order sync in our app, orders would be showing as pending under order log
And with toggle off for tracking isync n our app orders might get accepted by Amazon but would not be processed for tracking sync further in Amazon.
Solution: Turn the toggle on for Auto Import Tracking of Orders from Amazon FBA to Shopify
2. Orders status should be accepted by Amazon / fulfilled (complete) by Amazon:
Please check order status in our app, it should be synced to Amazon FBA successfully as accepted by Amazon or closed -that should only refer to fulfilled (complete) by Amazon. Tracking id can be generated only if the orders are synced to Amazon successfully.
Solution: Check the orders status, it should be a accepted by Amazon or closed. If not, review the order to do the needful further to sync it again to FBA.
3. Using another 3rd party app to manage orders fulfillment:
In case, you are using another 3rd party app to manage orders fulfillment & inventory simultaneously in Shopify while using our app. This will interrupt the automatic sync via our app.
Solution: Stop using 3rd part app for fulfillment or uninstall that meanwhile using our app.
4. Fulfilling orders manually in Shopify:
If you are fulfilling orders manually in Shopify before Amazon does it and syncs back the tracking id to Shopify. Or making any manual changes to orders at Shopify (change in SKUs, quantity, shipping address etc.) This will interrupt the automatic sync via our app.
Solution: Stop fulfilling FBA orders manually and let our app do the job and fulfill them automatically for you.
5. Mandatory settings are not configured properly:
Due to some of the settings where orders are marked as fulfilled in Shopify as soon as you receive them from online customers.
Or you are using native Amazon integration already. This will interrupt the automatic sync via our app.
Solution: Follow instructions above.
