Error: BigCommerce SKU is empty in this order

The reason why this or similar orders got rejected by Amazon

This order contains products that don't have BigCommerce SKUs in them, as a result, our app couldn't map these line items a.k.a (products) with their respective Amazon FBA SKUs, further, forward this order to Amazon FBA for its fulfillment.

How to fix this error

Step 1:

  1. Do a global search and add SKUs to the products of this rejected order right from your BigCommerce store
  2. After adding SKUs, click on the Save button to keep the changes done to these products

Step 2:

  1. Go to the Item Mapping page
  2. Click on the Sync Item Manually button and wait for 5-10 mins, further refresh the page
  3. In the BigCommerce SKU field, enter the new SKU, and hit the Search button. (Note: If SKU is still missing, just wait for another 3-5 mins, refresh the page, and follow this step again)
  4. In the action tab, click on the Update button corresponding to an SKU that you want to map. (Note: If SKU is already mapped, don't follow this OR below-mentioned step, instead, go directly to the Step 3.)
  5. In the update pop-up, enter its respective Amazon SKU in the SKU field, further hit the Submit button

Step 3:

  1. Go to the Order Log page
  2. In the Order ID field, enter the Order ID of this rejected order, and hit the Search button
  3. In the action tab, click on the Re-submit button
  4. Upon, successful re-submission, you will see the status of this order changed to Accepted by Amazon
