In WebBee AMCF for Shopify, you can manage multiple COD-related functions, including holding COD orders for post-purchase edits, distributing COD and shipping charges, and supporting partial payments on COD orders. Below is a breakdown of how each setting works.
This setting provides a dropdown where you can choose a delay duration (in minutes or hours).
When a new order syncs from Shopify into the app:
The order will remain in “Delayed Order” status for the selected duration.
After the delay expires, the order is automatically sent to Amazon FBA/MCF for fulfillment if the Order Sync toggle is enabled.
If the Order Sync toggle is disabled, you must manually resubmit the order to push it to Amazon MCF.
If you choose no delay, the order is sent to Amazon MCF immediately.
The default value is “Create order immediately.”
The dropdown offers two options:
Don’t handle COD & shipping charges.
The app will not distribute or modify any COD-related values in the order.
Handle COD & Shipping Charges
When enabled, the app proportionally distributes COD/shipping charges across all items in the order.
Example:
Item A: ₹500
Item B: ₹300
Item C: ₹200
Item D: ₹100
Total order value: ₹1,100
COD/Shipping charges: ₹150
Charges are divided proportionally:
Item A: ₹500 / ₹1,100 × ₹150 = ₹68.18
Item B: ₹300 / ₹1,100 × ₹150 = ₹40.91
Item C: ₹200 / ₹1,100 × ₹150 = ₹27.27
Item D: ₹100 / ₹1,100 × ₹150 = ₹13.64
This setting has two options: Yes or No. The outstanding amount becomes the new total for the MCF order.
When enabled:
Suppose the order total is ₹1,000.
The customer pays ₹300 upfront, and the remaining ₹700 is COD.
The app creates an Amazon MCF order only for the pending COD amount (₹700).
The same amount appears on the Amazon invoice.
